Durham Outdoor Recreation and Education staff and a member of New Hope Bird Alliance will lead a bird outing and birdwatch at a city park every Friday, for five weeks, from April 25 to May 23, 2025, from 8 to 10 a.m.
Each bird outing will take place at a different city park every week.
The birdwatching series is open to all levels of birdwatching experience. Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars, as supplies is limited. Preregistration is required for all participants (see links below.) Space is limited.
The cost is $1.50 for Durham city residents and $6.50 for non Durham city residents. There’s a 10% discount for 2 or more participants who register together.
