EastEnders ‘confirms’ who will expose Cindy’s affair – and it’s someone very close to her

Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) and Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) have been playing with fire in EastEnders as they’ve conducted an illicit affair behind their families’ backs.

But all that appeared to come to an end last week, when the arrival of Cindy’s former flame David Wicks (Michael French) in Walford prompted her to rethink their clandestine romance.

While she is now engaged to partner Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), she confessed to David she is still in love with Junior’s dad and ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon).

Since calling off her affair, Junior has struggled to accept Cindy’s decision, seeking to make her jealous by taking Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan-Levy) out on a date.

And on Tuesday, he came dangerously close to spilling all about them.

As Junior grabbed a drink with Cindy’s son Peter Beale (Thomas Law), a concerned Cindy watched on as she sat with Ian in The Vic.

Peter revealed his partner Lauren Branning (Jaqueline Jossa) was still suffering from her injuries after the summer’s club crush, Junior revealed a shocking truth about the incident.

As Cindy joined their conversation, Junior admitted to Peter he was in the club office at the time of the crush having sex with a mystery woman.

Peter was horrified to learn he and the woman had been blocking an escape route by locking themselves in the office, with Junior also horrifying Cindy as he indicated he was about to identify her as the person he was having sex with.
