I use a lb package of chopped broccoli, 1 cup chopped onion or more....browned in butter, 1 can mushroom soup, 1 jar cheese whiz, cooked rice I don't know put it in till it looks good, pepper throw some in, I usually make a double batch so i have some left at home.....Bake at 350 till brown and bubbly.

The biopsy.....I don't like 'em... and I got to have them from now on..... They go in my juglar...yeah....then they run a sheath down through my veins while watching on some kinda x-ray screen thing till they get it down to my heart. Then he runs another thing down through the sheath to grab a little piece of my heart .... then he grabs another ....till he has about 5. Then they can test the tissue for rejection. Its the only way...except they have a new way coming where they can do it with a blood test but it will be a while.

 

Your casserole sounds delicious and it's different than mine...I don't use rice or cheese whiz, but i do use broccoli, chopped onion, mayonnaise, cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheese and 2 eggs. When all of that has been mixed together, I melt margarine in a pan and then pour in some Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix and top the casserole with that.

on the biopsies!! I hope they sedate you for that!!! Can you feel it pinching your heart??? I've had "lady part" biopsies before and they're no fun!!!

 

No sedation but they do give me a valium because they know I don't like it....also just a local in my neck where they go in. And no I cannot feel them pinching my heart there is no feeling there....I thought i could the first time and kinda freaked out that is why they give me the valium now.

Oh...I'd freak out, too!! That's nice of them that they give you Valium. It's much better than having to bite down hard on a stick!!

Had a real good day at my brothers house today (Easter) I played with his wii....first time I have seen one. My 8 yr old Grandson beat me at bowling and tennis.....he couldn't hit my 94 mph fastball though...And he was not happy when my 6 year old nephew knocked him on his ass twice in boxing. Imagine that .... he is not a good loser.

 

So how was the ham?

I usually use the lowfat or nonfat versions of ingredients in mine and broccoli IS good for you!!.

 

Boy Easter wore me out I slept till 7 this morning ..... and went to bed early......between playing with my grandsons and the wii, i feel like I have been beaten. Oh well it is good for me we all need a good beating once in a while...

No I played tennis,bowling, and baseball .... my grandson beat me 180 to 129 in bowling... and I am a good bowler..... and he has never bowled... he was happy though I don't care. :roll:

Got a bit of a sore throat today....and my chest hurts from coughing.....
hope it doesn't get worse.... coughing hurts like a bitch. Think I will call the transplant clinic later......my incision is sore and draining a little too..... Oh well this is the first time I have felt bad at all. Maybe a good walk is all I need. I got a good one in yesterday ...went arrowhead hunting in one of my favorite creeks. Didn't find anything but that is why it is called hunting.... not finding.
